They are just so Genki.

One thing that has stood out to me about many of the Japanese people, is that they remind me of Minnesotans. They always end up commenting about the weather.

So it has been hot and humid here. Like my face will melt off, hot and humid. It is obvious to everyone, but they still comment on it. You know how people like to try and start a conversation with “So about that weather,” and what have you. Yeah, same thing happens here.

Please don’t misunderstand. I love it. It makes me feel at home. I just can’t help but giggle a little every time I hear  “あついですね.” Totally feeling home sweet home in Yanai, Japan.

Picture is not my own. Found and taken from google.
